Our staff are central to the quality of support and care that we offer to our service users and their families. HBBA Care is committed to ensure equal opportunity for all applicants.  Currently, we are looking for a worker in one of our properties near the B23 area which is a Female-only occupancy. What to expect
  • Helping with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) such as dressing, grooming,                                                                                            personal hygiene, and general personal care
  • Mobility (positioning and using mechanical or physical lifts for transfer where                                                                necessary or where service user has that equipment
  • Other routine daily activities - Helping with meal preparation, cleaning, Bed making, own laundry 
  • Helping with accessing Services in the Community - Education, Training or Employment
  • Administer Medication
  • Support with planned activities for the day.
  • Support client with their shopping
  • Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
  • Support with appointment making and attendance
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Be willing to work as a Core Staff/1:1 staff as required by job.

  • Must be able to maintain dignity and respect towards our clients
  • Must be willing to promote good social values and ethos to our young adult clients.
  • Mandatory training in date
  • DBS must be on update service/ Must be willing to undergo DBS Disclosure
  • Commitment to Care Certificate Standards in first 3 months of employment
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Proven experience as a Support Worker – or willing to be trained
  • Be compassionate and empathetic to our clients
  • Be willing to uphold the dignity of our clients
  • Commitment to Health & Safety
  • Well-organised and reliable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive and compassionate attitude
  • A valid driver’s licence preferred but not essential
  • A well-presented appearance
  • Lives within, or can commute to various areas where our clients are located
